VNII NP-207 is a blend of silicone fluid and a synthetic hydrocarbon oil thickened with a composite soap; it contains an antioxidant additive.
The heat-resistant VNII NP-207 grease is used for lubrication of electro-machine and starter-generator roller bearings, which rotate at the rate of up to 10,000 rpm within the temperature range from -60°C to +200°C and at the residual pressure of 666.5 Pa.
